Crockery World, Bangalore

You can find our shop at 228, AC Char Street here in Bangalore. It is a very busy street, always filled with people and vehicles. We have a lot of different plates, bowls, and kitchen items stacked up everywhere. The shop is quite full, so you have to be careful where you walk so you don’t knock anything over. We’ve been in this spot for a while now, and many of the local restaurant owners and families know us. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just sell directly from the shop. Some days are really crowded, and it gets a bit loud with all the bargaining and talking. We try to keep track of all the different designs and sets we have, but sometimes it’s a lot to manage. It’s a simple business. We get new stock in, we unpack it, and we put it on the shelves. There’s no air conditioning, just some fans to keep the air moving. We don't use fancy packaging unless someone asks for it. Most people just come in, pick what they need, and we wrap it up in newspaper or boxes. It’s a traditional way of doing things, and it works for the people around AC Char Street. We are just regular people selling things for your kitchen. We spend most of our time dusting the stacks and helping people find specific patterns they like.
