We run Steadmat Global Trading Company from our place at 23 Charles Campbell Road. If you know Cox Town, you know it has a bit of an old-school feel to it, which we like. It’s a good spot for a trading business. We handle global trade, which basically means we are the middle people making sure goods get from point A to point B. It involves a lot of tracking numbers and talking to suppliers. Our office at number 23 isn't anything fancy, just a regular space where we can keep our records and talk to clients. Cox Town is a nice area because it’s got its own character. We’ve been here for a bit and we’ve seen the streets get a lot busier over time. Trading can be a headache sometimes with currency changes and shipping delays, but we just take it as it comes. We don’t use any of those big marketing phrases because they don’t really mean much in the real world. We just focus on being reliable and getting the trading done right. It’s a small operation here on Charles Campbell Road. We know the local vendors and the people who live nearby. Most of our day is spent looking at spreadsheets or talking to folks in different time zones. It’s not a 9-to-5 job always, because global trade doesn't stop just because it's nighttime here. We just do our best to stay organized and keep things moving.
