Constellation Granite & Marble

Constellation Granite & Marble is tucked away at No. 5/4 on Hennur Main Road. It’s right in the Horamavu Post area. We’ve seen this part of the city grow so much over the years. When we first started, things were a lot quieter around here. Now, the traffic on the main road is constant, but it brings people by. We keep a variety of slabs in the yard, mostly granite because that’s what people around here seem to need for their kitchens and floors. It’s a lot of lifting and shifting. We don't have a big sales team or anyone in a suit. Usually, it’s just me and a few workers helping customers look through the stacks. Stone has its own patterns and quirks, so we spend time showing people the different batches. Some days are slow and we just sit by the gate and watch the bikes go past. Other days, we are scrambling to get everything loaded before the rain starts. It’s a physical job and our hands are usually rough from the grit. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in Bangalore. We just want to keep the yard running and make sure the stone we have is decent enough for someone’s home. It’s a simple life, working with what we have and staying here in the Hennur neighborhood.
