About Classic Granites – Building & Construction Material in Bengaluru
It’s a busy stretch of road here at No.10. We get a lot of dust from the constant traffic, but that’s pretty normal for Bannerghatta Road these days. We started Classic Granites because there was enough space here to keep the heavier slabs where people could see them. It isn't a very large place, but we try to pack a lot of variety into the space we have. Most days, I am just sitting at the small wooden desk or helping someone measure a piece of granite for a kitchen countertop. We don’t have a big sales team or people in suits. It is just us. You will see the slabs leaning against the fence when you drive past. Sometimes the trucks arrive late in the evening and we have to stay to unload them in the dark using flashlights. It is hard work on the back, but we are used to it by now. The stone comes in different thicknesses and colors, and we just try to keep things organized so we can find what a customer wants without moving ten other heavy pieces. It’s not always perfectly clean here, as cutting and moving stone is a messy business. We get local builders and homeowners mostly. They usually know what they want already, and we just show them where the stock is sitting. If you are coming down from the main junction, we are on the left side. Look for the stacks of grey and black stone near the road.
