City Halt Boarding & Lodging

We run this boarding and lodging house at No.50 on 1st Main in Yeshwanthpur. It is a very busy area because the railway station is not far away. A lot of travelers come through here looking for a place to stay for a night or two. Our building is just a standard block and we have simple rooms. We don't have fancy lobbies or room service like the big hotels. Each room has a bed, a fan, and a small bathroom. We spend our time checking people in and out at the front desk. The noise from the 1st Main road never really stops, so you can always hear the city from the windows. We try to keep the place clean, but it is an old building and it has its quirks. Most of our guests are people traveling for work or families on their way to another city. We have been in Yeshwanthpur for many years now. It is a practical place for someone who just needs a bed. We don't have a restaurant inside, but there are plenty of small shops nearby where you can get tea or snacks. The staff is just a few local guys who know the area well. We don't use any fancy booking systems, we just keep a ledger at the desk. It is a straightforward business and we just do our best to keep things moving. The railway station keeps the area busy so there is always someone needing a room.
