Choudary Ceramics

Choudary Ceramics is located in the Sonnappa Building on J P Road. We’re right by Arabic College and not too far from Ambedkar Medical College. It’s a busy part of the city with a lot of students and traffic. Our space is filled with all sorts of tiles and ceramic pieces. It’s a bit cramped because we try to keep a lot of stock on hand. You have to watch your step so you don’t trip over a crate. The building itself is quite well-known in this area. We’ve been here for some time now. Dealing with ceramics is heavy work. We spend a lot of time moving boxes and showing people different patterns. It’s not a shiny showroom like the ones you see in the malls. It’s more of a practical warehouse style. We like the location because it’s easy for people to explain where they are going. Just tell the driver to go near the medical college. We see a lot of different people coming through. Some are building new houses, others just need a few pieces for a repair. We don’t do much advertising. People usually find us by word of mouth or by just walking past on J P Road. It’s a steady pace of work. We keep it simple and just focus on the ceramics. There's always something to organize in the building.
