Our factory is out on Anchipura Road in Chikkuntanhalli. It’s easy to find if you know where the Eagleton Golf Club is, we are right near there. Being out here at Survey No. 62/2 means we have plenty of space for the heavy machinery we need for granite work. It’s a loud place, to be honest. The sound of the cutters and the polishers is constant from morning until evening. We deal with big blocks of stone that come in on heavy trailers. Watching them get sliced into thin slabs is always something to see, even after doing it for years. The air is often filled with a bit of mist from the water used on the blades. We spend most of our time out on the factory floor making sure everything is running right. It’s not an office job. We’re usually in our boots, walking between the machines and the stacks of finished granite. The location is a bit away from the city center, which is good for the noise and the space we need. Sometimes people coming to the golf club get a bit lost and end up at our gate. We just point them back the right way. It’s hard, industrial work, but there’s a satisfaction in seeing a rough block of stone turn into a smooth, shiny slab ready for someone's home. We've got a good crew here and we just keep the machines running every day.
