Channakeshava Granites

If you head down Vastral Road, you’ll find us at number 22 in Sadahalli. That’s where Channakeshava Granites is located. It’s an open kind of place, mostly because granite takes up a lot of room. There’s dust everywhere, which is just part of the job when you’re dealing with stone. We spend a lot of time moving slabs around and checking the patterns. Sadahalli is a bit out of the main city center, so it’s a bit more open around here. The road can get dusty when the trucks go by, but we don’t mind it much. We have different types of stone stacked up in the yard. It’s heavy work, and by the end of the day, everyone is pretty tired. We don’t have a fancy office; it’s mostly just a small desk where we keep the paperwork. People come by to look at the slabs and see what might work for their houses. We just show them what we have and let the stone speak for itself. It’s a very practical business. We’ve been on Vastral Road for a while and have seen it get busier over the years. We just keep doing what we do, loading and unloading, and making sure the granite is ready. It’s honest work and we like being out here where there’s a bit more space. It’s just us and the stone most days.
