Chancerry Hotel

Our location for the Chancerry Hotel is a bit unique. We are over in Vivek Nagar, specifically in the Munigowda Garden area. You have to look for Mahboob Saab’s place because we are on the first floor at No. 62/4. It is a very local neighborhood, not the kind of place where you’d expect a big chain hotel. This is more of a modest setup. We have our rooms and the reception area up there on the first floor. It is a bit of a walk up, but it’s kept clean. The area around Neelasandra is always full of life, with people walking by and small shops everywhere. A massive lobby with a concierge or a swimming pool on the roof isn't something we have. It is just a simple place for people to stay when they are in this part of Bangalore. We handle everything ourselves, from checking people in to making sure the rooms are ready. It can get a bit loud with the street noise, but that’s just the city. We try to keep things running smoothly without making a big fuss about it. The building itself is quite typical for this part of town. It doesn’t have a lot of modern features, but it serves the purpose. We are just local people providing a place for others to rest their heads for a night or two.
