Carlson Hotels Asia Pacific

Our base is in the Terrace Garden Apartments over in Kattriguppe. It’s part of the Banashankari 3rd Stage area in Bangalore. We’re in unit E005, so it feels more like a home than a typical office building. This area of Bangalore is pretty established, so there are plenty of small shops and houses nearby. We do work for Carlson Hotels from this apartment, which might seem a bit unusual to some, but it suits us just fine. It’s a bit more relaxed than being in a big glass tower downtown. We have a small team here, and we usually start the day with a bit of a chat before getting into the emails. The apartment complex is generally quiet, though you hear the usual sounds of people living their lives around us. We don’t have any big signs out front, so you really have to know the address to find us. Inside, we’ve just got our computers set up and a few bookshelves filled with folders. It’s a practical way to manage things without all the extra overhead. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad, which is a rare thing in Bangalore. We just focus on the tasks we have for the day and try to stay organized. It’s a simple, honest way to work, and we’ve been doing it this way for quite some time now. No one here is trying to impress anyone, we just get the job done.
