Canara Ceramics & Mosaics

If you head down to Bannerghatta, specifically near the Hulimavu Gate, you’ll find us at Canara Ceramics & Mosaics. We are located in the Nagappa Complex. The shop is filled with all sorts of tiles and mosaic pieces stacked up against the walls. It’s a heavy business, honestly. Moving these crates around takes a lot of effort every single day. We spend most of our time showing people different patterns or helping them figure out how many boxes they need for a bathroom or a kitchen floor. It gets pretty dusty in here with all the ceramic dust, but that is just how it is. The Hulimavu area is always crowded with traffic, so the noise from the main road is constant. We’ve got a lot of different styles, from the plain ones to the more colorful mosaics that take up a lot of space. It’s not a fancy air-conditioned gallery. It’s more of a warehouse feel where you can see the stock directly. Sometimes we have to move things around just to let someone see a specific design at the bottom of a pile. We’ve been in this complex for quite a while. Most of our customers are local builders or families from the nearby apartments who are fixing up their homes. It is a straightforward business. We just open the shutters, move the heavy stuff, and talk to whoever walks in. It’s a lot of manual work but we are used to it by now.
