B.V. Ramachandrappa And Sons

The office is over on N.R. Road, specifically at New 58 on B O K Road. It is an old area and our family has been around these parts for a long time. The building has that classic feel you do not see much anymore. We have a lot of history here, and you can see it in the way the office is set up with the old wooden desks and stacks of ledgers. It gets quite loud with the traffic outside because N.R. Road is always moving. We usually start the day with a bit of cleaning because the dust from the street always finds its way in. There are a few of us here, mostly family and a couple of people who have been with us so long they might as well be. We handle various things throughout the day, answering the landline and talking to regulars who come in for a chat or to settle an account. We do not really change much around here; if a chair works, we keep it. The layout is a bit cramped, but we know where everything is kept. It is a steady pace, not like those big corporate places. We take our time to make sure the numbers are right. Sometimes we sit out front for a bit when it is quiet just to watch the street. It is a simple life running a business like this, passed down through the years from father to sons.
