Colours Events

Our office is at No. 6 on 16th Main, right in BTM Layout 2nd Stage. If you know the area, it's pretty busy with all the shops and traffic. We spend most of our time planning out different events for Colours Events, which usually means a lot of phone calls to vendors and checking on decorations. It's not always glamorous work. A lot of it is just moving chairs, making sure the flowers arrived on time, and hoping the rain doesn't ruin an outdoor setup. We've got a small team here, and we all end up doing a bit of everything. One day I might be looking at stage designs, and the next I’m helping load a truck. It’s just how it is when you’re running a local event business. We try to keep things organized, but in this line of work, something always comes up at the last minute. We’ve handled all sorts of gatherings around Bangalore, but BTM is where we’re based. The office is usually a bit messy with fabric samples and leftover banners from past parties. We don't really do the whole corporate pitch thing. People usually just come by, tell us what they need for their function, and we see if we can make it work. It's a lot of late nights and early mornings, especially on weekends when most of the events happen. It gets exhausting, but we’re used to it by now. We just keep moving and getting things ready.
