A. S. H. Traders

We are tucked away in the Global Trade Centre at 6/2 Brigade Champak on Union Street, right near Infantry Cross Road. Even though the name Global Trade Centre sounds big, A. S. H. Traders is a pretty modest operation. We have a small office space that we’ve made our own. There’s a lot of paper around because we deal with many different trades. The hallways in this building can be a bit like a maze if you aren't used to them. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at ledgers. It’s not all that exciting, but it’s what we do. Infantry Cross Road is always buzzing with people and cars, so there's plenty to look at out the window when we take a break. We don't have fancy furniture or a reception desk. It’s mostly just desks pushed together and a lot of filing cabinets that have seen better days. We’ve been here for a while and know the other people in the building. Sometimes we share a meal or just complain about how slow the elevators are. We handle the trading side of things, making sure the numbers match up and the goods are moving. It’s a lot of checking and re-checking. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. It’s just a handful of us trying to keep things running smoothly. We show up, do the work, and head home to our families like everyone else.
