We are based at 1507, on the 1st Floor of the B.D.A Layout in Austin Town. This is the Vivek Nagar Post area of Bangalore. It’s an older part of the city, and the building reflects that. It has some character, even if the stairs are a bit narrow and the paint is peeling in a few spots. Being on the first floor is nice because we get a decent view of the street below. We handle the hotel management and administrative tasks from here. It’s not a hotel itself, just the place where the behind-the-scenes work happens. We have a few rooms filled with desks, computers, and a lot of binders. There is always someone working on a spreadsheet or answering a call from one of the properties. We’ve been in this Austin Town spot for years. The area is quite busy with local markets and people living in the BDA flats. We usually have a pot of tea going, and the staff brings in food to share at lunch. It’s a very informal atmosphere. We don't wear suits or have big meetings in boardrooms. We just sit around and figure out what needs to get done for the day. It is a practical, no-nonsense office where we just keep the business side of the hotels running as best as we can. We try to keep the windows open when it is breezy, but the traffic noise can get a bit loud sometimes. That is just part of being in this neighborhood.
