Bio Polymer Products

Working out of Peenya 37/143 means being surrounded by factories and the constant loud sound of machinery. Bio Polymer Products is located right in the middle of all that industrial noise and smoke. We handle a lot of raw materials and finished plastic parts here every day. The air usually has that faint smell of heated plastic, which you get used to after working here for a week or so. Most of our days are spent checking the quality of the items coming off the line or talking to suppliers about the next load of polymer bags. The office is just a small corner partitioned off with some old plywood and glass. It’s dusty because of the heavy trucks moving on the road outside all day long. We have samples of different moldings sitting on the window sill, getting a bit faded by the afternoon sun. It’s a lot of manual labor, moving crates and making sure the orders match the handwritten invoices. We wear sturdy boots because there is always something heavy being moved around the floor. It isn't a glamorous job at all, but it’s what we do to get by. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to spend hours getting them back up, getting grease all over our clothes and faces. We eat our lunch together on the shop floor when things get busy. It’s just a regular Peenya unit trying to get things done.
