Bhikshu Granite & Marble

You can find us over in Harpanahalli Village, specifically at Sy- No. 118. It’s a bit of a trek out to Janipur No.397 in the Jigani Hobli area, but that's where we set up shop. Bhikshu Granite & Marble is basically a big yard full of stone. We spend our days moving these heavy slabs around with the crane and making sure everything is lined up. It’s physical work and the weather doesn't always help, especially when it rains and the ground gets muddy. We’ve got marble and granite from all over, piled up in rows. Most of the time, it's just us and a few workers making sure the orders are ready for pick up. We don't have a glossy catalog or a team of salesmen. People usually show up, walk through the rows of stone, and point at what they like. We try to be helpful, but we’re mostly focused on the practical side of things, like loading the trucks safely. It’s a quiet enough spot until the cutting starts. We've been part of this Anekal Taluk community for a while now. We know the roads and the local builders. It’s just a regular business, nothing too complicated. We show up, move some stone, and go home. That's about the size of it. We don't have much time for sitting around, there is always another truck coming in or leaving the village soon.
