Bhel

This is our bhel business located at House Number 7-5-48 in Raichur, Karnataka. We run the whole thing right from the house. It is a very local setup and we’ve been serving the people in this neighborhood for a long time. We don't have a shop on the main road, so you have to know where we are to find us. Usually, people just walk into the lane and come to the house. Since it gets very hot here in Karnataka, we are mostly busy in the late afternoon and evening. We keep things very simple and use the same recipes we’ve had for years. There isn't really a place to sit down, so most of our customers just take their snacks home. We buy our ingredients from the local market nearby every day. It isn't a big chain or anything like that. It’s just a small family thing. Sometimes when the school nearby lets out, we get a big crowd of kids and it gets pretty loud for a while. We don't have a big sign with lights, just our house number 7-5-48. If you are in the area and want a quick snack, this is where you can find us. It’s just an honest little business we’ve built over the years. We take pride in making sure the puffed rice is always fresh and crunchy.
