Bhavani Industries

Our place, Bhavani Industries, is located at Arekere Mohamadwadi 1263/C. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here, but the space is good for the kind of industrial work we do. The building is basically a large shed with a high ceiling, which is lucky because it can get really stuffy when the machines are all running at once. We do a lot of metalwork and fabrication, so there’s always the smell of grinding and the occasional spark flying in the corner. We don't spend money on fancy signage or a nice lobby. Most people who come here are looking for specific parts or need something welded, so they don't care much about the decor anyway. We have a small table in the corner where we eat our lunch and talk about whatever is in the news. It’s a simple setup. Some of the guys have been here since the day we opened, and they can tell if a machine is acting up just by the sound it makes. We don't have a mission statement or any of that talk you see in big companies. We just show up at eight, put on our gloves, and get to work. It’s physically demanding and your hands are always dirty by the time you leave, but it’s a good way to spend the day. We just focus on getting the orders right.
