Down at Peenya Industrial Area 12, things stay pretty loud and greasy, which is exactly how we like it at Bhaskar Power Control. We deal with power stuff, mostly controllers and panels that keep other machines running. It’s a lot of wiring and checking circuits all day long. The workshop isn't exactly a showroom; there are spare parts and tools scattered over most of the benches. We moved into this spot because Peenya is where the real work happens in this city. You can hear the hum of the factories nearby while we’re testing a new unit. Some of the guys have been here for years and can tell what’s wrong with a machine just by the sound it makes. We don't have a fancy reception area or anyone wearing suits. If you come by, you’ll probably find us with sleeves rolled up, looking at a blueprint or soldering something. It gets hot in the afternoons, but we just open the big doors and keep at it. Most of our clients are other local businesses who need their power systems fixed yesterday. We don't do much talking, mostly just fixing. It’s a practical kind of life here at number 12. We make sure the stuff we build is solid because in an industrial area, things need to last. That’s pretty much the story of our daily routine in this part of town.
