Bharat Stones

We have been running things here at Bharat Stones for quite a while now. Our place is tucked away at 81/2 in Kumbaranahalli Village, right off the Jigani Anekal Road. It’s a busy area with a lot of trucks moving back and forth all day. We mostly deal with different types of stone slabs and blocks that people need for building their houses or fixing up outdoor spaces. The yard gets pretty dusty when the wind picks up, but that is just part of the job when you work with these materials. My brother and I usually handle the customers while the workers help move the heavy stuff. It’s a lot of physical work, especially when the sun is out in the afternoon. We don’t have any fancy signs or a big air-conditioned office to sit in. Most people just pull over when they see our stacks of granite and marble from the main road. We try to be fair with the prices because we know everyone is just trying to get their work done without spending too much. Some days the machines act up or the delivery truck is late, and we just have to figure it out as we go. It is a simple business, nothing too complicated. We like the neighborhood and the other people who run shops along this stretch of the road. It feels like a real community here and we plan to stay.
