Bestone Granites

Out here in the Bommasandra Industrial Area, things stay pretty loud most of the time. We are in the 3rd Phase, specifically at plot 235/P. If you drive through this part of town, you will see a lot of sheds and big trucks moving in and out. Bestone Granites is basically a yard where we keep the stone slabs. It is heavy work. Every day involves moving things around with the crane and making sure the stacks are safe. The ground is often covered in stone dust and if it rains, it gets a bit messy underfoot. We don't have a polished office with air conditioning that works all the time. Mostly, we are outside or in the small cabin near the gate. People come by to look at the different types of granite we have sitting out in the sun. Some of the pieces have been there a while, and others go out as soon as they arrive from the quarry. It is a physical job and by the end of the shift, everyone is usually tired and covered in grit. We don't do much fancy talking here. We just show what is available in the yard and help get it loaded onto the lorries. Bommasandra is a tough place to work because of the heat and the noise, but it is where the work happens for us. We just focus on moving the stone and getting home after the day is done.
