Behlim Marble Emporium

We run Behlim Marble Emporium at 81/1 in Veerabhadra Nagar, which is part of the Rabrindranath Tagore Nagar area. It’s a place filled with heavy stone and a bit of dust, as you’d expect. We have been working with marble for quite some time now. People come to us when they are building or fixing up their homes. We keep a variety of slabs around, though the stock changes depending on what we can get. It’s not a fancy showroom with bright lights. It’s more of a working yard where you can see the real material. We spend our days moving heavy pieces and talking to contractors or homeowners. Some days are slow and others are packed with deliveries. We just try to be honest about what we have in stock. The neighborhood knows us as the local spot for stone. We don’t spend money on big ads or fancy signs. The work speaks for itself usually. It’s a family-type atmosphere here, nothing too formal. We wear work clothes and get our hands dirty. It’s a solid way to make a living. Veerabhadra Nagar is a good location for us because it’s accessible for the trucks. If you need to see some marble, you just show up and we’ll show you what’s currently sitting in the yard. We keep it simple and just do our job. It's tough work but someone has to do it.
