You can find us over at Hyva Primus, specifically at unit 45/155. It’s a pretty standard commercial space, and we spend most of our hours here dealing with all sorts of stone materials. It’s a bit of a heavy job, literally, because stone isn’t exactly light to move or look at. The office is where we handle the billing and talk to folks about what they need for their floors or walls. Sometimes the place gets a bit dusty because that just comes with the territory when you work with granite or marble slabs all day long. We’ve got a routine down where we start early, check the inventory, and see what the trucks are bringing in for the week. The building itself is easy enough to spot once you get onto the right street. We don’t have any big flashy displays, just the slabs we have available and a few chairs for visitors to sit on while they look at samples. It’s mostly about getting the measurements right and making sure the stone is what the customer expected when they saw the first piece. We keep a physical ledger for everything because it’s easier than relying on just the computer sometimes, especially when we are out on the floor. Working in the stone business means your hands get a bit rough, but that is just part of the daily life here at Hyva Primus. We usually wrap things up by early evening unless there is a late delivery coming in from the quarry that we need to wait for.
