Bangalore Metals

We spend most of our time here on Killari Road over at 16th Main 2. It’s a busy spot and there is always some noise from the traffic outside. Bangalore Metals has been at this location for a while now. We deal with different types of metal pieces and rods every day. The shop gets a bit dusty because of all the moving parts and the old building. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late because the roads are so narrow around here. We just try to get the orders sorted for the people who come in. Most days it is just about checking the weights and making sure the inventory is where it should be on the racks. It’s not fancy or anything. There’s a small desk in the corner where we keep the ledger books. We don’t use much computer stuff, mostly just pen and paper for the notes. Sometimes the tea man comes by around four and that is when we take a small break. The shutters go up early in the morning and we don't head home until it’s dark. It is hard work lifting the heavy stuff but that is just how the business goes. We know the other shopkeepers on the lane and we all help each other out when someone needs a hand moving a heavy load. We have a small stool near the door where we sit when there are no customers. It’s a plain place but it works for what we need to do.
