Peter Clothing Company

We are over here in Banaswadi, tucked away behind the Bhagini Restaurant. If you know the Krishna Reddy Layout, you probably passed by us on 1st Main. Most days it is just us handling the sewing machines and looking over the fabric that arrives in the morning. It gets a bit loud when everything is running, but that is how it goes at Peter Clothing Company. The building is not anything fancy. We have been in this spot for a while now, right behind where people go to eat. Sometimes the smell of food from the restaurant drifts over while we are cutting patterns or checking the hems. We start early most days. There are always piles of threads and scraps on the floor by lunch. We try to keep things organized but when things get busy, the tables get covered pretty fast. Our neighbors know us as the place that always has a delivery van out front. We just do the work and try to get things out the door on time. There is no big lobby or anything like that. Just the workrooms and the storage space. It is a bit of a maze with all the rolls of cloth stacked up against the walls. We have a few windows that let in some light, which helps. It is just a regular shop doing what we do every day. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we're checking an order. Most of the time we're just busy with the clothes.
