Balaji Power Engineers 1

Balaji Power Engineers 1 is located over at Medarpet, specifically at 76 and 77. It’s a workspace where we deal with all kinds of power equipment and engineering bits. We’ve been here for a good amount of time, and the building shows its age a little. There are wires and tools all over the benches because that’s what happens when you’re working on stuff all day. It’s not a showroom. It’s a place where things get fixed or put together. Sometimes it’s quiet, and other days the machines are running and you can barely hear yourself think. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us doing the work. The neighbors know us as the guys who are always tinkering with engines or panels. Medarpet is a tight spot, and the streets can be narrow, so getting big parts in and out is sometimes a struggle. We just make it work. We’ve got a few old desks for the paperwork, but mostly we’re on our feet. It’s dusty work, and our hands are usually dirty by noon. We don’t mind it. It’s the kind of job where you see the results of what you did by the end of the shift. If something breaks, we try to see why. There’s no magic to it, just a lot of checking and re-checking. It is a loud environment but we are used to the noise now. We keep a spare set of boots under the table. The kettle is always on if someone needs tea.
