B L N Traders

If you find yourself in Yeshwantpur near Varsha Park on Baner Road, you might see our place at 7 31. We are B L N Traders. We aren't really a shop where you walk in to browse. It’s more of a place where things move in and out. We trade different goods. Some days it’s heavy stuff, other days it’s smaller items. The warehouse space is always a mess of pallets and packing tape. We try to keep it organized, but when three deliveries come at once, that plan goes out the window. My brother and I run the daily stuff. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking lists. It’s a lot of paperwork, which neither of us likes, but it has to be done. The tea stall across the street is where we spend our breaks. The traffic on Baner Road is getting worse every year, making it hard for the loaders. We started this because we wanted to work for ourselves. It’s not glamorous. We wear old clothes because things get dusty fast. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person. We just know our suppliers and our regulars. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. We just keep our heads down and keep the boxes moving as fast as we can. It's a bit of a grind, but it pays the bills and we like being our own bosses here in this part of town.
