You can find us at 29/2, Nanjappa Mansion, right on K H Road. We’re located just above the Vijaya Bank, which makes it easy for people to find. We are Aura Aec, and we spend our time on architecture, engineering, and construction planning. The office is usually pretty busy with people leaning over tables looking at CAD drawings or arguing about a structural detail. It’s not the quietest place, as K H Road is always buzzing with horns and people outside. We aren't one of those massive firms with glass walls and fancy coffee machines. We just have good computers and a lot of pens. We do a lot of the behind-the-scenes work that makes sure a building doesn’t fall down and that it actually looks right when it’s finished. Sometimes we’re out at the sites getting our boots muddy, and other times we’re stuck here trying to figure out a permit issue. It’s a mix of office work and field work. We’ve been in Nanjappa Mansion for a while now, and the neighbors are all used to us. We don't use a lot of corporate jargon when we talk to clients. We just explain what needs to happen to get the project done. It’s a bit of a grind sometimes, but seeing a project move from a drawing to a real building is a good feeling. We just keep at it, one drawing at a time, every day.
