Our office for Athena Hotels & Resorts Pvt. Ltd is tucked away in the 3rd Block of Prakruti Township. If you’re coming from the main part of Bangalore, you have to head out towards Babusapalya. It’s a bit of a drive, especially with the traffic on the ring road these days. We’re on 3rd Street, at number 7. The building is pretty easy to find once you get into the township. It’s a quiet area, which is nice because the rest of the city can be so loud. We spend most of our time here coordinating things for the resorts. There are always phone calls going on and people checking schedules on their screens. It’s not a fancy glass office building; it’s more of a practical space where we can actually get work done without too many distractions. The local shops around Babusapalya are where we usually grab a quick lunch or a coffee. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, but we have a generator that kicks in after a minute or two. We’ve got a small team here, so everyone knows everyone else’s business. We aren't trying to be some massive corporate entity that loses touch with the ground. Being based in a place like Prakruti Township keeps us grounded, I think. It feels like a real neighborhood. We’ve been here for a while now and the daily commute is just part of the routine we have all accepted.
