Ashraya International Hotel

You can find us at number 149 on Infantry Road, right across from where the Police Commissioner has his office. This part of Bangalore is always busy with traffic and people heading to work. Ashraya International Hotel has been here for a good while now, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. The street outside is usually lined with cars, and you can hear the city sounds all day long. We have people coming in for all sorts of reasons—some are here for work meetings nearby, and others are just passing through the city. We spend our mornings getting things ready for the day, checking the rooms, and making sure the front desk is covered. It’s a lot of routine stuff, really. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that; it’s just us running the place. Sometimes the elevators are a bit slow when everyone is trying to leave at once in the morning, and the lobby gets a little loud. We deal with whatever comes up, whether it’s a plumbing issue or someone losing their key. It’s a straightforward business on a well-known road. Most people know the landmark of the police station, so we’re pretty easy to find. We just keep the doors open and take things as they come. It’s a bit of an older building, but it does the job for anyone needing to stay central in Bangalore. We see a lot of regulars who have been coming here for years.
