Ashraya International Hotel

We've been running the Ashraya International Hotel for a while now over at A-1 in the Income Tax Colony. It is a pretty busy spot in Bangalore, especially with all the government offices nearby. The building isn't brand new or anything, but we keep the rooms tidy and make sure the fans and lights work like they are supposed to. Most people who stay with us are here for work or visiting family in the 560001 area. We have got a small team here. Some of us have been working at this desk for years. You will probably see the same faces every morning when you come down for tea. It gets a bit noisy outside sometimes because of the traffic, but that is just how this part of Karnataka is. We do not have a fancy lobby with marble everywhere, just some chairs where you can sit and wait for your ride. We try to help out with directions if you are lost. Sometimes the elevator takes a second, but it gets you there. It is a straightforward place to sleep without too much fuss. We usually have the news playing on the small TV in the corner. If you need an extra towel or a bottle of water, just ask one of the boys. We are right there near the colony entrance, so most auto drivers know exactly where to drop you off. It is just a regular hotel run by people who live nearby.
