Art Paper

Art Paper is situated in the Sultanpet area, right near the tower in Raopura, at number 160. If you’ve ever been to Sultanpet, you know how packed the streets can get with all the wholesale shops and people moving goods. Our place is right in the middle of all that action. It’s a tall, narrow building and we use most of the space for storing different types of paper. The air always smells a bit like cardboard and ink. We don't have a fancy showroom. If you come by, you’ll probably see us lifting boxes or cutting sheets down to size. It’s a lot of physical work, and our clothes usually have a bit of dust on them by the end of the shift. We’ve been at this location for a long time, and we know most of the other shopkeepers on the street. We don't have a corporate hierarchy here. Everyone just chips in where they are needed. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use flashlights to find things in the back, but we are used to it. It’s just how things are in this part of the city. We don't spend money on advertising or shiny brochures. People know where we are if they need paper, and that’s enough for us. It’s a busy, noisy, and honest way to make a living, and we have been here for years now. It’s just us and a whole lot of paper.
