Aro Granites

Our yard is tucked away right behind the Siva Complex in Hosur. If you’re driving by, you might miss us if you aren’t looking closely. We’ve been working with granite for a good while now. It’s a loud and messy business, to be honest. The saws are running almost all the time and there is water and stone dust everywhere you look. My boots are usually soaked by the end of the day. We don’t have any polished marketing brochures or a big office. Most of our time is spent out in the yard checking the slabs for cracks or patterns. Every piece of granite that comes through here is a little bit different. That's the thing with natural stone, you can't really control how it looks on the inside until you slice it open. We get all sorts of people stopping by, from local builders to folks just wanting a new counter for their kitchen. We just show them what we have sitting in the stacks. Sometimes we have to wait on the trucks to arrive, which can be frustrating when we're in a hurry. But that's just how things go around here. We aren't a big corporation, just a small group of us trying to make a living with the local stone. It’s heavy work and it keeps us tired, but we’re used to it.
