We are set up at 14 Doorvani Nagar, right on Transport Street in the A E J Complex. It is pretty easy to find since we are sitting directly opposite the K R Puram Railway Station. You can hear the trains coming and going all day long, which kind of sets the rhythm for our work. The street is always full of trucks and people moving things around. We started out here because the location just made sense for a parcel service. Inside the office, it is mostly stacks of paperwork and boxes waiting to be sorted. The fans hum all afternoon trying to keep the heat away, but we don't mind it much. Our team is small, just a few local guys who know the routes well. We spend a lot of time on the phone checking where things are or talking to drivers who got stuck in traffic near the station bridge. Sometimes the dust from the road gets into everything, so we are always wiping down the desks. It isn't a fancy corporate office with glass walls, just a functional space with some old chairs and a lot of activity. We drink a lot of tea from the stall downstairs while we wait for the evening shipments to arrive. That is usually when things get the most chaotic. We just try to keep things moving and make sure nothing sits on the floor for too long before it heads out again.
