We have been at Plot No. 9 in the Attibele Industrial Area for some time now. Most days it’s just us here at Anusha Stones Pvt. Ltd. dealing with the heavy slabs and trying to keep everything organized. Amekal Taluk is a busy place for stone work, so there is always a lot of noise and dust from the trucks moving in and out of the yard. We aren't a big fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s mostly just a large outdoor space where the granite and other stones sit until someone needs them. If you come by the industrial area, you’ll see our gate and the piles of stock. People sometimes get lost looking for these specific plots, but we are right there near the main road inside the estate. Handling these stones is hard on the back, and the weather doesn't always help, especially when it rains and the yard gets muddy. We spend most of our mornings moving things around with the crane or just checking what we have left in the inventory. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning till late evening. We don't spend much time on computers or making things look pretty. Our main focus is just making sure the stone is cut right and ready when it’s supposed to be. That is pretty much how things go here day after day in Attibele.
