Perfect Granites

Perfect Granites is out in the Jigani Industrial Area, specifically at No. 138/1. If you’ve ever been to Jigani, you know it’s a place of heavy machines and lots of noise. Our shed is no different. We are surrounded by other factories and workshops, so there is always a low hum of electricity and engines in the air. We handle a lot of granite here, and since it’s an industrial zone, we don't worry too much about the aesthetics of the place. It’s all about the slabs and the cutting machines. The water we use for the saws runs in little channels across the floor, and you have to watch your step so you don't slip. It stays pretty damp inside even when it’s dry outside. We have a crew that’s been together for a while, and we all know the routine of loading the heavy pieces without needing to say much to each other. Lunch is usually eaten sitting on some leftover blocks of stone near the entrance. It's not a fancy life, and the work is dirty, but there’s a certain rhythm to it that we like. We see a lot of truck drivers from all over the state, and we hear a lot of stories while they wait for their loads. The Anekal Taluk heat can be tough in the summer, but we just keep the fans going and keep moving the stone.
