Mahesh Granites Bengaluru

We spend most of our time out here at No. 41- B in the Jigani Industrial Area. It is a bit of a trek from the main parts of the city, but this is where all the stone work happens. We have been here for a good while now. The yard gets pretty dusty when the trucks roll in and out all day. That is just how it is in this part of Anekal Taluk. We handle a lot of granite slabs every day. They are heavy and take a lot of effort to move around without any chips or cracks. We have a few guys who help with the loading and unloading. Most of our morning is just checking the inventory and seeing what came in on the latest shipment. It is not exactly quiet work because of the machines running nearby, but you get used to the noise after a few weeks. Sometimes people come by to look at the different colors we have sitting out in the sun. We show them around, though there is not much of a showroom to speak of. It is just a work site with a lot of stone. We keep things simple. If the weather is bad, everything slows down since we are mostly outdoors. We just try to get the orders ready and onto the trucks as they come. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until the sun goes down. We've seen a lot of changes in the industry over the years, but the stone is still the same.
