It is a bit of a mouthful to say the whole address, but it’s a very busy part of town. The main road is almost always packed with buses and trucks, and there’s a lot of dust in the air from all the construction nearby. We are tucked slightly away from the heaviest traffic on the hospital road. Our building is a simple structure where we do all our electronics work. There are benches for soldering and shelves full of components and testing equipment. It is not the cleanest place in the world, as there are always scraps of wire and bits of solder lying around, but it’s where we get things built. The team here is small, and we’ve been working together for a few years now. We usually eat our lunch together in the back room or go out to one of the small eateries on Magadi Road if we have the time. Being near the hospital means there are always people around, so it never feels lonely. It is a hardworking environment without any of the fancy decorations you might see in the newer tech parks.
