Amith Nitin Impex International is based out of B.S.K. 2nd Stage. You can find us at No. 1106 on the 17th Cross, right near the 30th Main. It’s a residential-feeling area, which makes the work day feel a bit more relaxed than if we were in a high-rise. We have been working from this address for quite a bit of time now. The office is mostly just a place for us to keep our records and manage the international trade side of things. We deal with a lot of different countries, so someone is usually awake at odd hours to take a call or respond to an urgent email. The desks are a mess of papers, pens, and old coffee mugs, which is just how we like it. It shows we are actually doing something. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to polish our image; we just focus on the logistics of moving goods. The neighborhood is pretty quiet, which is a nice contrast to the busy nature of international shipping. Sometimes the neighbors come by to chat, or we take a walk down the 30th Main to clear our heads. It’s a practical way to run a business. We don't need much more than a reliable phone line and some space to store our files. Every day brings a different set of challenges, but we just take them one at a time right here in Banashankari.
