Amit Marbles

Amit Marbles is located at 43/1 Thavarakere, right off Bannerghatta Road. We are pretty close to the Micro factory, which most people around here use as a landmark. The yard is full of different types of stone, and it can get a bit messy when we are unloading new stock from the trucks. We spend a lot of time outside moving things around. It’s not a fancy place, just a lot of marble slabs leaning against each other. People come by to look at the patterns and see what might look good in their homes. We don't do much talking; we just show them what is available in the stacks. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to work, especially when it rains and the ground gets muddy. We’ve been in this spot for a good while now. It’s a busy area with a lot of traffic passing by all the time. Handling marble is heavy work, and you have to be careful not to chip the edges. We’ve had a few cracked pieces over the years, which is always a shame. Most of the time, it's just us and the workers getting things loaded onto tempos for delivery. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just a family-run kind of thing where we show up and do the work. If you need to find us, just look for the slabs near the factory.
