Amit Bricks Shop

Down at 69-3-1, First Main Road in the Pukhraj Layout of Adugodi, you’ll find Amit Bricks Shop. It’s tucked in there among the other buildings, and it can get pretty cramped when the delivery trucks try to back in. Adugodi is always moving, and we are right in the middle of it. We started this shop because we knew the area was growing. It’s not a corporate setup with a lobby; it’s more like a yard with an old desk and a lot of bricks stacked high. The First Main Road gets a lot of traffic, so we are used to the noise of horns and engines while we work. We spend our mornings checking the quality of what came in the night before. If a brick is cracked, we set it aside. There’s no point in selling something we wouldn’t use ourselves. The Pukhraj Layout has changed a lot since we first opened, but the way we handle the bricks hasn't changed much at all. It’s still about counting, lifting, and loading. We have a couple of guys who have been with us for years, and we all just get on with the job. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us busy from sunrise until we close the gate at night. No big speeches or promises, just the bricks sitting there ready for whoever needs them for their construction. We like to keep things moving and stay focused on the tasks each day brings.
