American Express Bangalore

Our place is at 68/A, which is known as Annes Cottage in Kodihalli. It’s a bit of an unusual spot for an American Express office in Bangalore, but that’s where we are. It doesn't look like a big bank building at all. It feels more like a house that's been turned into a workspace. We’ve got trees around and it’s a bit quieter than the main roads. The 560008 area is actually quite nice to walk around during lunch. Inside, we have our computers and desks set up where the living room probably used to be. We handle various tasks for the company, mostly checking over details and making sure things are correct. It’s a small team here, so we all know each other pretty well. We don't have a big fancy lobby or a guard at a glass desk. It’s just us doing our jobs in a comfortable setting. Sometimes the internet acts up or we run out of milk for tea, but we just walk down the lane to the local shop. We like the fact that it feels a bit more personal here than a massive office block. It gets a bit dark in the evenings because of the big trees, but it’s a peaceful way to work. We just focus on our lists and help out whenever someone from the main branch calls us. It's a steady routine for everyone who works here.
