We’ve been at 6 Museum Road for a while now, tucked into Raheja Chambers. It is a busy spot but we like it here. Alps Granite Pvt Ltd is what we call ourselves. People usually come by when they are looking for stone for their kitchens or floors. We have different slabs sitting around. Granite is heavy stuff, so moving it takes some work. Our office isn't fancy, just a place to sit and talk about what people need for their houses. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty with all the samples, but that's just how it is with stone. We handle the orders and try to make sure things get delivered where they need to go. It is mostly just us working through the day, answering the phone and showing people the different colors we have in stock. Raheja Chambers is a well-known building, so most people don't have a hard time finding us. If you walk in, you’ll see the desk and some stone pieces leaned up against the wall. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations because the granite speaks for itself. It’s been a steady business for us. We deal with builders and regular homeowners too. Everyone wants something that will last, and granite does that. We just try to keep things simple and get the job done without too much fuss. It's a lot of lifting and measuring. We've seen a lot of changes on Museum Road over the years.
