Alif Granites Pvt Ltd is located at 15 Kamaraja Road. We are part of the Marutidham Society and situated in the Gulmohar Apartments complex. A good way to find us is to look for the Tender Chicken shop right across the street. Our space is filled with heavy slabs of granite and marble leaning against the walls. It is a heavy-duty environment where we do a lot of lifting and moving of stone. The floor is often dusty from the cutting and polishing work we do. We have a small office area where we sit down to talk to customers and handle the bills. It’s a very functional setup without any unnecessary frills. Kamaraja Road is a fairly busy stretch, so there is always some noise from the traffic. We’ve been at this location for some time and the neighbors know us well. Sometimes we have to move our delivery trucks quickly to avoid blocking the road. The work is physically demanding and we spend most of the day on our feet. We keep a few samples out on display, but most of the inventory is kept in the back or in the yard. It’s a straightforward business where we just focus on the stone work and getting the orders ready for the local apartment projects. It’s a gritty, real place where we put in a lot of hours every day.
