Aikyata Foods

Aikyata Foods is based out of Yelahanka in Bangalore. We are not right in the middle of the city noise, which is something we actually like. Our place is where we handle all the food preparation and packaging. It is a busy kitchen environment most of the time. You can usually hear the sound of mixers or the clatter of containers being moved around. There are a handful of us working here to get everything ready for the day. We don't have a storefront where people can walk in and sit down, it is more of a production space. Yelahanka has changed a lot over the years but we have stayed put. The weather in Bangalore is usually good for our work, though it gets a bit damp during the monsoon. We spend a lot of time cleaning the equipment and making sure everything is in its right place. It is hard work and your hands get tired by the end of the shift. We are just local people making food items for the community. We don't use any big marketing tricks or anything like that. If you come by, you might see us loading up a van or unloading fresh ingredients from a supplier. It is a simple operation and we take it one day at a time. We are just happy to be working here in our little corner of the city.
