Advanced Micronic Devices Ltd has been based in Basavanagudi for quite a long time now. This is one of those older, more settled parts of the city where things feel a bit more traditional. We deal with micronic devices, which is a bit of a niche field but it keeps us busy every single day. The office is not anything you would see in a magazine; it is just a functional space where we can get our testing and assembly done. We like being in Basavanagudi because it has a lot of character and some of the best small cafes around for a quick break. Most of our staff live nearby, so we have become a bit of a fixture in the local area. We do not do much in the way of advertising or trying to sound more important than we are. We are just a local company that knows its way around electronics and devices. Sometimes the work is tedious and requires looking through a microscope for hours, but we do not mind. It is satisfying when a piece of equipment finally works the way it is supposed to. We have seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but we have stayed pretty much the same. Just a group of people working hard and trying to do a decent job for our clients without making a big fuss.
