Richmond Town is a busy part of the city, and being right by the Iron Market means there is always noise from trucks and people moving things around. Our building at No 2/4 is tucked away just enough so it isn’t right in the middle of the dust, but you can still hear the neighborhood waking up early. I start my shift behind the desk when it's still dark out. The lobby isn't huge, but there are some chairs for people who are waiting to check in or out. Most people who stay here are traveling for work or just need a place to sleep while they do things in the city. The rooms are plain. We make the beds every morning and try to keep everything tidy. Sometimes the elevator makes a little noise, but it works fine. The iron market is right there, so you see a lot of workers during the day. It’s a very practical area to be in. We have some regulars who come back every few months when they have business nearby. We don't have a big fancy restaurant, just a kitchen where we make basic breakfast and tea. People usually head out pretty early to beat the traffic. It’s just how things go here at Adarsh Hamilton. We keep the keys on the rack and the register stays busy enough to keep us on our toes throughout the day.
