We’ve been here in Cooke Town for a bit now, over at number 394. Dealing with utilities isn't always the most exciting thing in the world, but it’s what we do every day. Most of the time we’re just keeping track of bills, managing meters, and making sure the paperwork for various services is actually correct. It gets busy, especially when there’s a billing error someone needs fixed or a connection that’s acting up. The office is usually full of files and people on the phone. It's a local operation, nothing too fancy. We just focus on the task at hand. Some days are quieter than others. When things are slow, we catch up on the logs or talk about what’s going on in the neighborhood. Cooke Town has changed a lot, but our little spot stays mostly the same. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us handling the utility stuff that people usually find annoying to deal with themselves. If there’s a problem with a meter or a payment issue, we try to get it sorted out without too much fuss. It takes a lot of patience. Sometimes the systems we work with are slow, but we stick with it until the job is done. It’s practical work. We’re just here doing the daily grind and trying to keep everything organized for the people who use our services every month. We aren't fancy, just practical.
