Abb Ltd

We’ve been here at Mettur for a while now, right near Sankara Subramanian's place. It’s pretty hot most of the year, but we get on with things. The office isn't anything fancy, just a regular space where we handle what needs doing for Abb Ltd. Mostly, we spend our days sorting out local requirements and making sure everything is moving along. You know how it is in Tamil Nadu, things take time but they get done eventually. We have a small team, and we all know the neighbors. Sometimes the power goes out, so we just wait or use the generator. It’s quiet enough around here except for when the trucks go past. We don't really do big meetings or anything, just work. People come by, we talk, and then we get back to the paperwork or whatever task is on the desk. It’s a practical setup, nothing more than that. We just focus on the daily stuff, keeping the records straight and helping out where we can. It’s a job, and we do it as best we can without making a big fuss about it.
